The Gateway to Housing Related Support Services

The Gateway system is a single point of access which centralises all applications for housing related support to enable independent living.

Services could be anything from help to claim the correct benefits and life skills such as budgeting, to more complex support such as drug and alcohol support needs and managing a person’s mental health.

How do I apply?

The on line referrals are for agencies only.

If you are threatened with homelessness, you need to contact the Home Options Team  Telephone 01472 326296 option 1.

What type of support is available?

Short term supported housing: Such as hostels and refuges where people need to live in a particular kind of accommodation in order to be supported effectively;

Floating support: This is available to anyone with Housing Related Support needs, regardless of where they live, or in what type of home.

Services can be short-term, aimed at assisting someone to get back on their own feet, or long-term, if there is a need.
